Mental Health Support Worker

My name is Felicitas. H. Phiri. I work as a Mental Health Support Worker, with the Crisis Resolution and Home Treatment Team for Older People which includes the provision of Dementia Intensive Support for people who live with challenging behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia. I am passionate about learning and have always loved to help others, this has been present through much of my life, whether supporting friends and colleagues, or even strangers. In the future, I would like to progress into nursing or mental health social work and take on more responsibilities to support the team. I am a Bachelor of Commerce Accounting degree holder and Certificate of Proficiency in Long term Insurance holder which has given me transferrable skills for my current role. Outside of work l enjoy spending time with family, charity work, travelling, music and sports karate.
