Since completing my ILM (Institute of Leadership & Management) Level 7 Certificate in Executive Coaching & Mentoring several years ago, I have coached a wide range of health and social care colleagues (both clinical and non-clinical), senior managers and executives across the West Midlands region and beyond.
I have helped people work on areas such as imposter syndrome, confidence-building, interview skills, career progression and relationship management.
I believe that interpersonal relationships are at the heart of how we perform and I aim to help my clients learn more about themselves and their impact / influence on those around them. By increasing self-awareness, relationships with others can be improved and this empowers people to fulfil their potential. I like to help my clients gain more self-awareness by exploring how they prefer to interact with others, how they prefer to think / learn and how these, alongside their personality preferences, have an impact on others.
My coaching style has been described by others as “calm and insightful”. I adopt a fairly structured approach, while always appreciating that the process is driven by my clients rather than me. I use a range of tools and coaching models as well as some NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) techniques, tailoring these to the client and to the situation.
