Project Manager - London Talent Team - NHS England

Hester has worked in the NHS in several positions for 6 years. She started her first role at HEE in the NWL Quality and Commissioning Team as a Senior Administrator in 2016 for the Paediatric, Medicine and NWL GP School where she managed the schools activities, budgets, conferences and events.

In 2017 Hester moved internally to the Business Support Team as an Officer continuing her role in specialty school support and used her knowledge to train and support her colleagues in their roles during a restructure. Hester was then promoted to a Senior Officer role in 2018 where she became the lead for school specialty events, budgets and managed and developed the new Events Management System.

Following her second child and after returning from maternity leave Hester came into the role of Operations Manager in the Health Education Team in the Foundation School managing the team, overseeing all F2 GP Placements across London and leading the allocations of Foundation Interim Trainees during the first wave of the pandemic.

Hester is currently on a Secondment in the London Talent Team as a Project Manager supporting the Leadership Talent Sponsorship Scheme as well as other projects underway in the team.
