Senior Nursing and Midwifery Clinical Lead

I am a registered Nurse and Midwife, working in the NHS for 23 years. I have spent a large majority of my career in Midwifery in various roles. I have worked in all midwifery fields and been a Practice Development Midwife, Risk and Governance Manger, Head of Midwifery and on secondment as the Deputy Regional Chief Midwife.

Recently I have gone back to Nursing, working in the WT&E directorate, leading on Mental Health, Learning Disabilities and CYP workforce - particularly the Long Term Workforce Plan.

I am a Professional Midwifery Advocate, I have a diploma in Clinical Risk and Claims Management and have completed the Florence Nightingale Aspiring Leaders. I have also completed the yellow belt of the Lean 6 Sigma training.

I am a UEA fellow, FNF Alumni and recieved the CMidO Silver award.
