A Moment of Pride: High Commendation at the HPMA Awards
We are absolutely delighted to share that Talent Timebanking has been recognised nationally as one of three finalists for the Capsticks Award for Innovation at the HPMA Awards 2025, receiving an incredible High Commendation from the judging panel on 20th November 2025.
For an initiative that only launched nationally in April 2025, this recognition is nothing short of extraordinary. It reflects not just the vision behind Talent Timebanking, but the collective generosity and collaboration of our growing community.
Being shortlisted as a national finalist is an achievement in itself, but receiving a High Commendation is a powerful affirmation of the heart, purpose and promise behind Talent Timebanking.
The judges highlighted:
- Our bold, innovative and values-led purpose.
- The platform’s potential to transform long-standing inequities in access to development.
- The impressive progress made by a small, dedicated team working with passion and limited resource.
- The early national momentum, with adoption already increasing across the system.
The judges also shared something we are proud to acknowledge with honesty and transparency:
we didn’t win because our national impact data is still emerging.
And that is true, we are at the very beginning of our journey. Our stories are growing. Our numbers are rising. Our platform is still young.
Which is precisely why this recognition is so special. It tells us that there is belief in what we are building, not just today, but for what it will become. This commendation gives us a clear and energising mandate: keep growing, keep learning, keep demonstrating impact and keep moving forward together.

Talent Timebanking began as a response to inequity. It is growing into a platform that uplifts colleagues, strengthens capability, and brings the whole health and care community closer together.
